Service Exchange Programme
When downtime is critical, we can often supply a pre-repaired unit from stock. You fit the exchange unit immediately while we repair your original to OEM specification; once your unit is ready, we can arrange return or you collect from our Germiston workshop.
Service exchange is available for selected pump, motor and steering components. Availability depends on current stock—tell us your component type and machine model and we’ll confirm whether we have an exchange unit and lead time. This option is especially useful for single-machine operations or tight shutdown windows.

Repair Process: From Your Unit to Return
Every repair follows the same process so you know what to expect and what documentation you’ll receive.
- Booking and receipt: You send us details of the faulty component (type, machine, symptoms). We arrange receipt—drop-off at our Germiston workshop or courier with a works order reference.
- Strip and inspect: Our engineers strip the unit and document the condition with photos. We record wear, failure points and probable cause.
- Report and quote: You receive a written assessment: what we found, what’s required to repair, and a fixed quotation. No work is done until you approve.
- Repair and reassembly: After your go-ahead, we repair or replace worn parts, reassemble to OEM specification and run in-house tests (flow, pressure, leakage as applicable).
- Collection or delivery: We notify you when the unit is ready. Most customers collect; we can also arrange return shipping. You get documentation of the work carried out for your records.
Drop-off and collection at our workshop is welcome. For couriered units, please include a works order or reference so we can match the component to your job.
Industries We Serve
We work with equipment owners and maintenance teams across industrial, mining, agricultural and off-highway sectors. The way we work (strip–assess–quote–repair–test) is the same; the applications differ.
- Mining: Open pit and underground—haul trucks, loaders, excavators, drill rigs, and ancillary hydraulic systems. We see high hours and harsh conditions; repairs are documented for compliance and asset history.
- Agricultural: Tractors, harvesters, irrigators and fixed installations. We repair pumps, motors and steering components to get seasonal and daily operations back on schedule.
- Off-highway and construction: Earth-moving, road-building and material handling equipment. Service exchange is often used here when a machine is on a critical job.
- Industrial: Plant machinery, presses, and mobile equipment used in manufacturing and processing. We work to your shutdown or maintenance window where possible.
What We Repair
